Interesting article. Is this type of practice geared more toward those recovering from cardiovascular events, or is it also suited for people like me—motivated to maintain a high level of fitness and enjoy a longer, healthier, and (hopefully) more fulfilling life?

@Brandon R. as a cardiologist, I care for anyone and everyone. However, my new focus and the intent of this article is to highlight my passion for keeping healthy folks like you healthier longer with a more strategic game plan. I feel traditional medicine misses this target in the Nobel quest to treat active disease rather than prevent. In this process, I want to also be available for real people who do not have diagnosed CV or metabolic disease but want to jumpstart or initiate a healthy lifestyle of fitness through diet, aerobic exercise and strength training to improve healthspan and along the way likely expand life expectancy. Thanks for the great question and engagement.
